It is a great privilege to be entrusted by individuals to guide them to better health. I believe that patients can be their own best doctors when they are educated about their medical condition(s). My philosophy to medical care is to be an educator, coach, and, when necessary, to be the person to guide a patient through the diagnostic and treatment process so that he or she can enjoy the best health and quality of life possible for his/her condition(s). It has been a career-long privilege to be associated with Cornerstone Medical Clinic and its physicians since 1983.

Personal Summary

I was raised in the Yakima Valley, the son of a family physician. I worked in the fruit orchard during summers from high school through medical school. I have retained my "old-fashioned" small-town roots and philosophy. My hobbies include hiking and backpacking, visiting family members, and maintaining involvement in my church family. Most of my hobbies have as part of their purpose to make a difference in the lives of people.
